I'm willing to go through with it if that's what she wants me to do. Worse case, it's a (hopefully) brief trip to a little room. I have no issue whipping it out if necessary and I haven't indicated otherwise to Belle. However, I've also already suggested this same idea you have. It's probably not a bad compromise.

Somewhere I read about someone modifying the locking post on a CBx000 to accommodate both a regular lock and a plastic lock. Bring the key to the regular lock in case you need to take it off. Bring a couple of extra plastic locks too so you can re-secure that and send a photo to verify. Or just use the plastic locks to begin with although I tried one once and didn't like that it didn't hold everything together tight to prevent movement / pinching.

Last time I traveled, I just bought a pack of those numbered plastic locks. They were pretty cheap and essentially do the same thing as the numbered key lock. But, Dev is right, how much trust is there in this game....The psychology of knowing that someone else is holding you captive or more accurately that you are keeping yourself chaste ONLY for them, is the whole point, isn't it. AND it's a contest of wills to some degree. You want to orgasm whenever you can get away with it....what man doesn't? But, from a practical point of view, we have to recognize that we can always cut our way out of a plastic device anyway....which is why so many guys like the steel. No argument there. The trust factor is actually a more stringent test of how willing you are to remain chaste when not under guard of your key holder. I find it very difficult to not want to cheat....and it makes it more meaningful when I don't....so, I just psych myself up to "offer it up" for my Goddess, the love of my life : 0 she would like that no?

As far as the Cyber Lock it is a real product and a real company. Even though you are holding a key, the key can be programmed (via the web) to not open during specific times. Meaning you can take the key with you...your key holder can pre-program the key to only open your lock for say 5 minutes every day. You can make a web cam call when you open it and prove you have locked it when you have your kit back on. Then the key is automatically de-activated until the next time period. And by the way, the lock records the time and day when it has been opened. It is very very clever....I just don't know if they make a lock small enough for MCD uses....

Lastly, is that Dream Lovers Lab thing for real? It is either the best internet spoof going or it is quite outrageous. I don't care for the FemDom tone of the site, but the product concept is very cool if you are into a D/s relationship. Especially if you travel. Imagine having the DL2K device linked to your web enabled cell phone....those business meetings may get pretty rough : )
