I was driving to work the other day and this song came on the radio...an old favorite. I came home and looked it up on YouTube and watching it from a keyholder's eyes it had a whole different meaning. What do you think, folks? Is Lyle Lovett speaking to us?

As I've always thought the term 'chatelaine' outclasses keyholder in every way, for me it has to be KD Lang's 'Miss Chatelaine' (even if it is about her aspiring to a lifestyle portrayed in a defunct Canadian womans magazine).

I get where you coming from, but the line 'she's no lady , she's my wife' seems a tad derogatory to me! Cool song though, defo a hidden FLR thing going on.

Same thing happened to us recently. We were listening to an old CD of Michael Bolton when a song came on with the words "steel bars locked all around me". My spouse looked at me and said, "that's your song". I'm not sure what the title of the song is, but the words certainly apply to MC.
