Instead of lube, try a slightly larger ring. You should never need any lube.

Been using a lotion daily for years on my base ring. Once after morning shower and again before bed. Without it I would be in serious trouble and my ring fits just fine. IMO, do what is best for you to make it work.

i had found that the hinge rings cause all of my problem with chafing an burning of ball sac
i am in cb3000 with solid rings an now 8 months later still going strong.i also have the cb6 but those rights have ridges an cause much discomfort to my ball area

Petroleum jelly works for me. Then again, I can handle mine even without lubricant , but the jelly just makes it more comfortable.
