It has been almost 2 weeks since my last entry and really not a lot happening, at least not of the type things we usually write about here. Kitten is still on the slow road to recovery but is getting stronger every day.

Bad news on the septic problem. I got the tank pumped out but when the tank was empty you could see the walls starting to break up and collapse. That means a new tank. Going through proper channels and pulling permits would require a complete new system at a cost of $8,000 to $10,000. I was referred to a man that is working it as a 'repair' and he installed a new tank yesterday. $1K for the tank and $1.500 for his labor.
