Quick Reply is on or off for a given forum, there is no way to control that separately per user in the UCP. Not even through an extension, I checked. So, with Quick Reply on, people have the choice to use the Full Editor. We've disabled it in Journey where that's not likely to be the desired default...

Okay fair enough. Quick replies are coming back, I'll disable them in Journal, and just keep in mind that Full Editor is where you get auto-saves.

So I’ve just disabled quick replies, so that there’s no need to take an extra step. Please weigh in on that change. Pro - can’t lose replies any more. Con - need to click “post reply” now every time. Oh I see what you are saying @Naljeans -this doesn’t work in the quick editor when adding to something like your journey. It does work in the full editor for replies. I’ll amend the first post to point that out.

@TwistedMister Adjust it to 60s in UCP! I’m erring on the side of more frequent saves as a default, and, that can be adjusted. Even turned off completely I think.

@Tullyboy I am so sorry you lost your post. So that we may not lose such insightful prose in future, I've installed an "Auto Draft" feature that saves a draft every 20 seconds. May yours be the last post that was sacrificed to the Great Bitbucket in the Sky!
