I know this has been mentioned in several other threads, but lubrication between the base ring and the wearer's skin is vitally important with the CB- xxxx devices. I found that if I didn't apply adequate lubrication, the result would be excessive pulling/burning sensations - very uncomfortable.

I've worn MM devices (QK and WM) and have done many different activities while wearing; however none of which have been done under the same conditions as firefighting such as potential imminent danger, need to move quickly, etc. Some of my past work required me crawling/moving through tight spaces, ...
