Re: About to buy a HolyTrainer or CB6000 cage, would welcome some help
The Cherry Keeper looks interesting. I've become a fan of the closed cage design, so the chances of me jumping ship for another open style is unlikely. However, if i were to do so this one would be on the top of my list to try. At least as a back up, or for going through airport security. I'm impres...

I like my $15 A272 much better than my $300 Jail Bird. The full cage eliminates alot of the pinching you can get with an open cage. Also use a quality lotion instead of lube.

Re: DHGate A271
When you get the 45mm ring dont polish the inside. They tend to have a slightly rough surface. I think this is by design to help prevent it from slipping and sagging down.

Re: About to buy a HolyTrainer or CB6000 cage, would welcome some help
I would stay away from anything plastic if you plan on wearing it long term. If i were you i would buy two devices. An A271 with a 40mm ring, and a A272 with a 45mm ring. This will give you two different lengths of the same style cage, and two different sizes of interchangeable base rings. Buy both ...

Re: Knock off HT3 review
Update: I've been wearing this thing for a few days now. It's been real comfortable and i really like how light it is. But this morning it fell off while taking a shower. For some reason (I'm guesing its heat related) the tabs on the base ring started to spread appart causing a large amount of slack...

Re: Model A272
Do we have any members that can do custom work like this. This ring is one of the egonomic styles.

Re: Model A272
After doing some measurements. I'm not sure theres enough material on the much smaller 40mm ring. I would need to open it up 2 maybe 3mm to make it work. At that point the walls of the ring would be quite thin. I think cutting down the 45mm might be a better option. Anyone done this before?

Re: Model A272
Yeah Tom you would be correct. This is some hard stuff to work with. I've been grinding with several different barrel sanders for hours trying to get a little more clearance. It looks promising at this point. I'll have to wait until my bride brings her key home to try it out.

Knock off HT3 review
I've been intrigued by the Holy Trainer design for a while now. On a whim i picked up this knock off HT3 on Amazon. IMO these are not wearable out of the package. They require a major "fluff and buff" before you can put them on. I actually modified mine right off the bat by removing the an...

Re: Model A272
So i got the new 40mm A272 from Amazon today. This cage is stamped on in the inside: SUS 304, 18-8. I'm guessing model number and type of stainless? The 40mm an 45mm base rings are interchangeable. The 40mm as expected is just a slight bit too tight. It took a minute to get on, and actually feels go...
