I'm not sure its chafing - the sore bit is hidden away.

I just looked it up - the soreness is on the coronal sulcus, underneath the corona glandis. Basically on the 'neck' bit underneath the 'head' bit.

I already use some silicone lube to avoid the ring burn. Fan already!
