Re: MM security screw vs padlock
We like the security screw. Mainly for the fact it does not stab my gf when we are cuddling in bed. It is a bit of a faff to get on but undoing it is nice and quick. Re: Lube with Jail Bird?
I don't think you are going to need lube. Not to get in it if that's what you mean as you can use your finger tips to pull yourself into it. If you on about the base ring then it depends on how tight you are going. Is possible you may need a bit but I personally don't use any.

Re: Ordering a MM jailbird from the UK - Customs charges.
My tax was only 8 quid because the value on my parcel was lower then the true value. From ordering to receiving it took mine exactly 6 weeks. Once it's been shipped email MM and ask for the tracking number. Be aware though that it isn't really tracked so you may find that it will only update every 2...

I changed my padlock to a proper fitting ABUS padlock - there is now no cage movement which combined with a little larger gap has solved the problem...[/quote]
Thanks for the update. Glad it's all sorted for you

Re: Technical question - oval rings
If you have an oval it does reduce the distance between the cage and the ring a little so that will help to prevent your balls from escaping

Re: Base ring and cage length
I use a 2" base ring. I sometimes use a 1 7/8th but that sometimes wakes me up with nocturnal erections. I have 2.5" inch cage.

I ended taking 1/2 inch off my flaccid measurement instead of the recommend 1/4 inch on the MM website and am so pleased I did.
