How in the world could this be good news?
He just sent my device out yesterday, now I'm probably going to have to send it back to get it upgraded again grrrrr.
MM, I'm that gnat that keeps buzzing you with emails... to get the ring upgraded "for the screw in post" vs fixed post, do you require the cage or just the ring... or would it be better to just get a new ring constructed from scratch?
Well at least with 2 devices I can do it one at a time now... blessings in disguise.

Sorry to hear that. What are you getting upgraded? I thought you got your new cage already. Did you get another?

I lucked out. I just spoke with him (via email) to add that option to mine, and an additional ring, decided I better have the larger ring too even though I think I am now permanently on the next size down. He said mine was 70% complete. I think I just set it back a little bit. It is working out good for me this time though because I love the jailbird that I am in now so I am no hurry. Not like last time where I was very impatient.

I had sent my JB in because the cage diameter was a touch too small and I wanted the "A" ring a touch larger, to ensure the new device and rings worked with both devices and rings, it all went back after only having it for a couple days. I should be getting them back in the next day or two, most likely Wednesday (Monday would be nice also :) ).

I really like the idea of having a removable post so the ring can stay on without a spear to be impaled upon sticking out, just not into piercings I guess.

I added the integrated lock to our device being built. The lock and how it fits on the JB was my only real hesitation in getting one. *Really* happy about this option, though I'm very curious to see what it looks like.

I can't tell if it is really an integrated lock or some other type of locking pin. I ordered it anyway :) guess we'll see when it comes in.

Integrated or locking pin, either way is better than a master lock. Whoever gets one first will have to post photos of it.
