I got one of these. Works great. Of course you can always just smash the acrylic glass, but all of these devices can be defeated if don't mind destroying things. It works for up to 10 days I think. It's cool looking at the keys inside.

Customer service was prompt and courteous. They are sending a replacement lock right away.

Take a look at the time lock safe. Available at Amazon. It can be programmed for up to ten days. It's a very thick acrylic box with a locking lid. It would take a very heavy hammer and some good biceps to bust open. Not just some tin snips or small bolt cutters. It is very well made and worth the price.

This one looks very interesting to me:

Look at the "shared access" option. Keyholder is primary. Can then set WHEN you are able to access it. All remotely. Just using apps on your phone. "Monitor activity, and receive tamper and low-battery alerts with the free Master Lock Vault eLocks app for Android and iOS"

I hate to report that both locks have failed to function. The first one was reported to customer service and they said they would mail a replacement to me. That was a month ago. ...

There are better options out there.

Our key has been safely locked in a timed safe for a week. Mrs Cage likes to say that sheโ€™s sorry she cannot u lock me as it is out of her hands๐Ÿ™. She controls how long the timer is set, and our timer can be set for months! Found it on amazon. $25 or so.

That's the fun of it. 30 mins to go and then she can max it to 10 days again......

I need to update my customer review of the time lock. I now believe that I was overcharging the locks and caused the failures. After the locks sat in the drawer for a couple months they started working just fine. While I find the charging instructions confusing that is the extent of my bad review. The locks work as advertised if you don't charge them too often. I'm checking to see the minimum limit but have not found it yet.
