Wow, that's a great idea. Except for the hinge part.

interesting, BUT it has a hinge.

I ordered something silimar, a differnent cage, but same ring design. I'm planning on using the Tom Trick and will fill the hinge joint with silver solder and then polish it down to smooth finish. I really like non-circular base rings. Even a little ergo bend goes a long way to avoiding embarrassing readjustments throughout the day.

Can you imagine asking your KH to please fondle my nuts, and they reply, "which ones?"

I'm somewhat shocked at how cheap the DHGate steel devices are. I just bought four items for under $70 USD total. All with integrated locks and ergo base rings. It must be hard on the custom manufacturers to see so much variety being pumped out at mass production prices. I have a custom device, and I love it—the personalization and service that comes with it is phenomenal... but given the price differential, I don't know if I'll ever get a second one. With the addition of a soldering iron, Dremmel tool, And bench vise, I can quite nearly make my own custom device from a mass produced one.

Looks like I'll have to update the "How many devices do you have" post at the top of the chat topic list.

I had been totally against buying the Chinese knockoffs of the CBxxxx line, but now it's obvious that some of them have been hard at work designing their own devices. Frankly, I have no idea how they can sell a device made from stainless steel for $20, considering that somebody had to make some welds and do some machining.

There's been a lot of discussion about how the Chinese government has been a currency manipulator, and has been artificially keeping the yuan valuation low to keep investors coming in. This is obviously a good market for people testing the waters.
