Any of the remedies mentioned here will be stronger than the original. They use a sonic weld that simply is not as strong as a chemical bond.

My CB 3000 split and cut my member pretty good. I used two part clear acrylic from a beauty supply store, which is the same stuff fake nails have. I used a dermel tools to sand down the old edges at an angle to allow the two halves to be essentially fillet welded with the acrylic. Then I just wet hand sanded it the outside and inside until it was smooth as silk. I actually went a step further and buffed it to look like glass, but as long as the rough edges are sanded, your good.

Also, I forgot to mention that you can get an acrylic starter kit with everything you need for like 30 bucks. Its really handy to have in the future to fix anything plastic.
