Device selection conundrum

i hope i can gain some insight from those that are more experienced in the ways of picking out chastity devices than i am.

i am having a really hard time, after all the hours of research i have done, deciding which high end device to purchase. i am leaning towards something like the devices made by Steelwerks, preferably the Classic; Mature Metal Queen's Keep, or a Lori #2 series (not sure which one yet). i am not pierced and presently wear a CB6000 Woody with a 1 7/8 base ring. The inner diameter is too smal by about a 1/4 inch and the length is too long. i have been wearing it for a few weeks now and it's ok, but Mistress wants something more permanent as we have read the horror stories of splitting etc of the CB series.

Also on that front i have heard and read many accounts of issues with Ms Lori and resizing, attitude etc etc.

This is a big purchase and Mistress and i want to be as well informed as possible. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

Personally i am leaning towards the MM Queen's Keep with anti pull-out.

If they were around when I got my Jailbirds I would get a Queen's Keep instead, I think that or a Jailbird is a great metal device. I would probably skip the anti pull-out though unless you just want it for a little pain play. I didn't find them to be very effective as anti pull-out.

And does anyone know why the Lori 2c is in so much higher demand than the Lori 2?

The 2c is a hinged device with spikes in it. I would assume easy to get in. I do not know as I only have my MM JB.

Why the QK over the JB Atone?

Because I like the idea of a band around the base instead of a ring but still like the open bars at the end. I tried to have a jailbird end grafted to a pet trap that I had but it didn't turn out too good. It looks like the Queens Keep accomplished what I tried to have Bill do.

If the OP had asked a more open ended question I would have suggested a Steelheart (which is actually rather close ended).

I have an MM PT and it has open bars at the end? Also note if sizing off a CB6000, the cage isn't round but oval - width is 1-3/8, but "height" is only 1-1/4.
