Alternative locks for a CB6000

Post by hh_pe »

My wife and I are new to CB's. I've been locked in the CB6000 since April 22. The issue we are having is the edges of the brass and plastic locks hurt my wife when she rubs herself on the CB. We are wondering what other locking methods people have used that might not poke at much.

You can use a dremel tool and round off all the edges of the padlock

Or you could wrap the lock body in a bit of rubber or plastic tubing, like surgical tube. This will also help to keep it from clacking when you walk around.
