Mr S Leather devices?

I'm looking for a long-term device that's not a tube, which so far I've just found too constricting to be workable. So I'm very curious about a couple of these, but rarely see them talked about or reviewed.

Maybe it's because they ain't bargain priced... but if it's because they suck, I'd love to figure that out sooner rather than later!

I don't have any experience but they sure are hot. No access to the balls is kind of cool. If I had an extra $600 laying around (I don't) I might try one.

I'm a little freaked out by the leather straps. That doesn't seem appropriate for long-term wear. I wonder about hygiene and durability.

Other than that, I think the second was is more than a little hot. Might be a nice way to mix things up from time to time. Then I saw the price. OMFG.

I wonder if the leather is necessary. I can't tell what it does, maybe just support the weight.

Looks like a product that probably really needs to be custom too.

I have been thinking all day about how that would feel. It has the potential to be real comfortable I think.

Until you mentioned it I didn't notice it. I didn't look at the pictures so much as read the description.

The pictures don't quite have me motivated to drop $600 on one but I might have to get out the welder and make up a prototype. I think it would have to be custom in order to not show a lot. The one in the picture looks rather enormous. I am pretty sure it wouldn't need to be that large (for me at least).

They weigh about 1/2 a pound which can feel like a lot if your swinging in the breeze (or at least to me they would). I went with the more traditional model http://www.mr-s-leather.com/CB310.html and am finding it more comfortable than the CB6000 it replaces with the caveat that I need supportive underwear or it starts to remind me.
