Branded (Bruses and abrasions) question?

Post by Jimi123 »

Being high and tight seems to be not so great if you want to dabble in MC.

Well, my update is I played with different (smaller) spacer, tried the second largest ring and managed to go 24 hours straight (I know - BIG deal) in my new (and improved - cb6000 ring system) curve. I over did it at some points and under my right teste is a line / abrasion. I don't know if it was me being overzealous with the size changing or? I do want to say that the smaller spacer made things easier which was good! I could see it being wearable in other words. The smaller ring? That didn't work out so well and the pinkie test flunked.

Anyway, I put it away for a while until the branding mark goes away but while I've got the time any ideas? Sanding? and is there a better way to smooth it? Is it better to go with the baby oil / silicone lube on the ring or dry? I know I have to use something for the tube otherwise I don't fit in. And btw no problems with the shaft that I can see...

Or? Does everyone doing this have a permi brand under the right testicle?

Did you read my blog today?

What are you using for lube? Or whatever? Just something to think about. Chastity shouldn't be excruciatingly painful.

Use plenty of lube, and if needed, get the 600 grit wet sandpaper after it. The new rings should be pretty smooth, but if you have an abrasion, it is either rough, or not lubricated.

When I got the solid ring for my CB3000 it was amazingly rough especially for something that was supposed to solve the problem of the hinged ring. A little sanding solved the problem though and it was fine after that.

Plastic clings. I know exactly the mark you're talkin about. I've had it lots of times. Just keep it lubed up to try to avoid the issue, but even with that, it will come back.

I know some people prefer them, but I have to say I had so many more issues like this when wearing plastic than I do now. I think it's a combination of shape (big, thick, hard edges) and the material. You can do things to lessen these issues, but they're always just under the surface.

I agree, there is a reason that so many seem to go to the metal devices and it's not that they hate their money.

Thanks to everyone for the replies.

The first time in it was rough. The loosest spacer using the stocking method? Whew... I just thought to myself this can't be made to work. There really was a breaking in period. I was doing just hours at a time trying to build up to longer periods. Baby oil btw around the ring. It was just bad...

I tried the silicone lube as someone suggested and getting the shaft up into the tube fully really helped. Being bunched up maybe part of the problem. Changing the spacer as I mentioned elsewhere seemed insane what with the first fittings but... Time and wear makes it possible and I put on the smallest one for the longest wearing much to my surprise and it all seemed to be easier. No, NOT because its cutting off the blood supply to my testicles...
More I think from getting used to it but too loose seems to be much worse.

Anyway, after my 24 hour breaking in I was ready to keep going. I woke up was reading and forgot I had it on and thought "Well I guess we really can do this" It was the next day that I did a quick check to see if there was any damage done and did the "oh shit" when I saw this line. Its nothing really bad (No open sores) but I can see that its one location and put away the "equipment" to get some words of wisdom.

Re the metal I understand what your saying and its all good but finances are just not there for another device and we have not really even moved force into this.

Sandpaper! I'll recheck the new lube and see if its causing the issues.
Standing up is a lot easier then sitting down for whatever its worth and I was wearing underwear with support. I think maybe the looser underwear would have been easier but I'm not sure why.

Houston we have a problem. An update to the bruse(s) is that they were worse then first reported. Ouch. Looks like I'm missing some skin and it actually did some damage.

I picked up some sandpaper and was surfing the net and found some of Tom Allens "Do it yourself" custom chastity workshop info which I think is excellent. Looking at my Curve I'm actually surprised how many rough spots are on it and how many raised letters etc are on the device. I would think it would be polished like a mirror for a comfy fit. Anyway, I think short term I need to get healed up from test fitting and do some serious smoothing to make this (maybe?) work.

I had some really weird conversations with my wife about our sex life. I think the idea of switching modes from "sex is to please him / duty" is a bit more serious of a problem then I thought and this might be more difficult then we felt.

first, sorry to hear you are having problems. You might want to practice on the smallest ring that came with your curve. From what you have said there is no chance you will be using that so if you screw it up you can just try again on the next size up. Hopefully you can get it right by the time you get up to the size you are using.

I used a small sanding disk and then a buffing wheel to do mine. It felt very smooth but didn't look super smooth. My understanding is that the best way to get a mirror finish on acrylic is to use a low flame (from a torch, not a match or candle) to basically melt the finish. Google is your friend.

second, as to this being more difficult. Don't make it more difficult than it is. We humans, and possibly men in particular, tend to make things more complicated than they need to be.

It gets complicated all on it's own thank you very much....
I used an emory type of board that was oversized, no idea where my wife had gotten it, but it has 4 different "grits", a different grit on each end, and different on each side, one says shape, one smooth, one polish, and one says buff I believe it isn't sand paper more like a foam rubber. By touch the different sides don't really feel different, but it worked really well.
