HA! HAHA!! HHAAHAHHAHAHAHHAAHAA!!!!

Sorry, I didn't even read the rest of your post. I couldn't get past that line. It's is demonstrably UNTRUE and a massive misperception among the uninitiated.

I read the rest of what you said now...

Wrong. I'm not saying the types of relationships you're describing don't exist, but I totally reject that *most* are that way. Not the ones with which I'm familiar and certainly not mine.
...but I’m going to guess that 99% of guys in chastity are so at their request and their terms.
At their request, yes, but not on their terms. Not *nearly* 99%. Some, yes, because each person doing it is doing so in their own way, but your grossly over-generalizing. I have no control over when I'm locked up. I *do* have control over playing the game at all, but part of the game is to let her run it how she wants.
The same is true of what I’m doing, I’m just not using a device which is really just a reminder of the situation, I’m using a pill for my reminder.
You're looking to use the pill to reduce your desire to masturbate or have sex. We use our devices to increase those things.
I’ve yet to hear of a chastity device that prevented escape or orgasm, so it’s really the same game.
Then you are unfamiliar with my device. Without the key or a tool with which to destroy it, I cannot get out and orgasm is out of the question.
To that point, this relationship has greatly increased our intimacy and sex play, just not penetration or orgasm. My wife has ruined many orgasms since we stared, but instead of locking me back up afterwards, she tells me to roll over.
That does sound like what I'm familiar with, but it goes against your previous statement that you're trying to reduce your interest in sex.
I’ll continue to enjoy reading the chastity posts on here and tormenting myself until I break, and maybe someone will feel the same about what I’m doing.
So I assume your interest in sex has *not* reduced? I'm no doctor, but I don't think there are enough hormons in modern BC pills to have that great an impact on your body. There are probably better people here to speak to this...

You needed to read the rest, or maybe I wasn't clear, my point was that in a true chaste relationship (or by definition) there would not be less sex. The majority (ok, maybe not 99%) of what people call chaste relationships are not, they are men topping from the bottem (sorry, I had the term mixed up in the last post).

I can't follow the back and forth quotes, nor do I want to sound like I'm arguing cause there are clearly significant differences, but to the last point, is my interest in sex reduced? That's tough to answer, my first impulse is to say no. I'm still very interested in sex. Very very interested. But, previously, I was a habitual masturbater (4-10 times most days), and now I haven't done it at all in 72 days, so it's tough to say. I think it is mostly a placebo effect. I used to wake up horney and aroused, and jerk off. Now I wake up horney but not aroused, and I take a pill instead. I think in some ways the action has taken the place. Now that it's been over two months, I still sit down in front of the computer, look at porn, and want to jerk off, but I don't because I've come this far. So it's tough to say. For a month I was taking two different pills at the same time, I I think that was actually effective, I really didn't have desires, and actually had a hard time getting and maintaining an erection.

Emphasis mine.

Wettie, in this particular group, even though some of the men may have initiated the use of a device, for the most part it has become a shared activity, one in which both partners are getting equal enjoyment from the increased intimacy. If you took a poll of the members, I'll bet that you'd find that most of us would report either increased sexual activity, or increased (and satisfying) intimate activity.

Ignore the dictionary definition of "chastity" in this case. As Thumper says, we use the devices to enhance the intimacy, not as a way to avoid it.

Good evening :)

My spouse and I are somewhat new to chastity (for him, me being the key holder). I'm here looking for options on devices as we are not entirely thrilled with the current one we have but have some fairly particular requirements. So, I figured I would join and see what is available and what other users think of the deivces they use or have used...

Thanks...

Could you be a little more specific with the requirements you had in mind?

The biggest one is not metal. His job requires him to pass through metal detectors A LOT (and now possibly travel through airports)... Because of this, he initially chose the cb-2000 since it is entirely plastic and can be used with the numbered plastic locks, but he can't get that on comfortably. He can only wear it for a few hours at a time and can still achieve a sizable, though not complete, erection. Not to mention that it is designed in such a way that when worn, the lock rubs on the shaft of his penis...no bueno. Anywho, we are looking for something that is decently comfortable (I don't want him to experience pain in a bad way, not to be confused with good pain =} ) because for the next several months, his job is going to require him to be away several days a week and I don't want him to end up in excruciating discomfort with me (and the key) 2 hours away. We also want something that is secure, not metal (how do others deal with metal detector issues, we can't be the only ones who have that as a factor, right?)... And unfortunately we can't afford to fail test a bunch of different devices...

Please tell me that I am not looking for a unicorn? heh heh
