I have had multiple Chinese devices, both CB6000 knockoffs and steel, before upgrading to a MCN Contender a few years back. It's a great device, but I find myself wanting another device or two, something less open than the Contender. I am not sure what drives this desire, perhaps buyer's remorse or penis entrapment envy.

Does anyone else have this predilection?

I went through multiple cheap chastity devices before finally buying a MMJB.

Now, the cages I desire to add to my collection are all in a new price range.

I think about it but my jailbird is so comfortable and fits so well, I can't justify it. I'm not saying never...
