I have heard several suggest Bag Balm which was invented to help cow utters but now is the "go to" salve for anything with skin.

Can't say I've used it but it has a following in those who cages.

I too shave all the time and it makes a difference for me. The suggestion about pinching from a too large ring I found to be true also. Not sure why. I went down a size and the pinching went away.

Shaving my pubes has been a kink for me since my teens, way before I found chastity/denial, so it's a no-brainer when it comes to wearing a cage. Moisturising is key.

I've been an occasional 'recreational' shaver ever since I had to deforest my scrotum for a vasectomy back in the day, but I've found hairlessness to be essential now that I wear a cage. Unfortunately, I find regular shaving a real chore, but anything more than a few days unshaven leads to irritation from stubble.

The solution for me has been DIY waxing! I would be way too embarrassed to go to a clinic, even if there was one near where we live (which there almost certainly isn't), so I do it myself - veerrryyyyy carefully. The big plus is that I stay smooth for much longer, and after a few removal sessions, the regrowth is much softer and doesn't irritate, meaning it can be left even longer. The downside is that it's difficult for me to stretch the skin on the scrotum tight enough. This means that occasionally I strip a thin layer of skin along with the hair - definitely not recommended!!

My routine now is to wax most of the area around the balls, perineum, penis etc., then use tweezers on the bits of the scrotum most prone to losing skin. Works for me.

Laser light is your friend. I’ve had my anal area and chest lasered and am very happy with the results. Unlike most folks here, I think, I prefer hair around my penis, but if I did want it hair free, that’s the way that I would choose to do it.

Doing chastity with hair was at first pinchy. This was particularly true for night-time erections, but as I have become used to the ring it has stopped hurting. And the times that it does pinch, I have reprogrammed myself to realize that it’s just a bit of hair getting caught and I can either ignore it or reposition the ring a bit.

I am currently using a metal ring which is a vast improvement over the rubber one that I wore at first. I find that it has also help to use baby oil prior to bedtime, but I don’t typically use it during the day.

FWIW i have just got a new series 9 Braun shaver and it keeps me shaved between blade shaves with no nicking or grazing as i used to get with the series 3.

The idea of having anything sharp down in that area scares the crap out of me!

Anyone know about waxing? Can I buy the stuff at Walmart? I don't think I would want to apply it to my scrotum, but who knows, maybe?

I've never done it before so anyone has some advice, that would be great!
