Shaving

Post by Chastehusband »

So before being locked up I never ever shaved my bits. After a day of being locked up I decided it would be easier to shave everything off, and so I did using an electric razor.

I was wondering what people use for shaving? and also how do you deal with shaving while locked for several days to weeks in the places you cant get to very easily?

Cheers

Hair removal cream == an experience you wont be looking to repeat soon. Chemical burns are no fun at all. Mostly have always kept it trimmed skin short with electric clippers. Currently growing it in some towards a "Brazilian" for men, which is likely to be another experience I won't be looking to repeat soon.

I don't shave. When I got my first device (CB6K), I did for awhile, but I grew bored with having to keep up on it. Plus, it would itch as it started to grow out. Hell, I only shave my face once a week. So now I don't do it at all, haven't for some years. Having a hair trapped here or there isn't that big a deal, and easily fixed. Now that I'm in the Jailbird, the whole issue of shaving seems irrelevant.

Ab has been smooth for years. He uses a plain old razor and shaving cream. I prefer Edge, myself, be he sometimes sneaks out and buys that nasty, cheap Barbasol (I can't stand the smell). He gives himself a little clean up about 2x/wk and has been asking to have his CB off to do that. When his Jailbird arrives, I am not so inclined to let that come off, so we'll see how the shaving goes with the device on.

I like my pussy smooth and he shaves that for me, also with a razor. Sometimes we're lazy and it grows in---then he needs to trim it first with scissors or a clipper and follow with the razor. For the past few weeks of chastity, he's been more conscientious about keeping me clean because I've been asking for it.

Let me know how that works out.

I haven't been let out *at all* for almost 4 weeks, and only to switch cages before that. It hasn't been a real big deal for me until just the other day. I was looking around down there, checking things out for any hygiene issues and just felt the need to shave. The last time I asked to be let out to shave, about three weeks ago, the request was denied (which I did thank her for btw) so I didn't ask this time. I was trying to determine if I could shave with the device on. I think I probably could but it would be a lot of work. Decided it wasn't worth it for now. Keep us up to date if you try it.

Good so far. I wore it for nine hours on Monday, then put it on Tuesday morning and am still in it. Minor issues here and there, but nothing that's been so severe I've needed to take it off.

Good to hear. Are you happy with the fit?

Do you have any advice to share as far as getting good measurements the first time?

As some may know, this is the second one for me. The first one had a gap narrower than I specified, and I erred on the side of caution and made the cage too big. So MM and I came to an agreement on getting a second one built. I used the A ring size from my CB6Ks, and don't have any problems with that - it's a snug fit, but not constrictive. The gap was the crucial measurement.

For the cage, I measured and measured and measured, but still got it too big the first time on both length and width. It came out more like a CB-2000 cage. I would say that with this design, snug is better than "wiggle room". I could have gone with even a shorter length than I ended up with, but it's not bad now. I'm never more than 1/4" from the end of the cage.

The weight isn't so bad when you first put it on and stand up, but I think it does have an effect. Lying on my back in bed I'm more conscious of it. I do get some soreness in the lower abdomen and a bit in the back, but I've also got a cold, so that may be part of it. Nothing some Ibuprofen can't seem to relieve.

Overall I'm pleased with it. the hygiene issues are much easier than with the CB6Ks. I'm thinking I'll see if I can go a week, then take it off and inspect things. After that, well who knows?

Getting back to the point of this thread, I don't see any reason why you should need to shave while wearing a Jailbird. I've had little or no problems with hairs getting trapped or caught so far.

Hair is tricky. I like to keep the bush whacked for purely aesthetic reasons (not shaved bare, but trimmed short) and I usually shave the hair off the shaft and testicles (trees look taller when the surrounding shrubs are cut down). Of course, that's much more difficult in the device. Also, shaving the skin around the where the tube and the ring connects can cause irritation as the stubble grows out. I've lately let it grow out more on order to avoid that problem (which, BTW, I'm experiencing today).

The other issue I find is that pubic hair can get caught in the nooks and crannies of device and get pulled on, but not hard enough to pull them out. That's a lot of fun, sitting in a meeting with one pubic hair being steadily pulled out of your body over the course of several minutes...

It has to be the cold. The Birdcage is about 141 grams (on average) and my Steelheart is 200 (on average). That means you've only got a third of a pound down there. I can't imagine that would exert enough pressure on your back muscles to cause them to ache.

That being said, I do think that I've experienced lower back ache caused by denial and/or chastity, but I've always chalked that up to fluid build-up or compressed, stifled erections more than the device I was wearing. Plus, you know, sometimes your back just hurts! ;)
