It's interesting that people are focusing on the time "when the holidays are over." I know the holidays are stressful--they certainly are for us and I don't particularly enjoy the November/December rigamarole. I always breathe a huge sigh of relief around January 3rd when I say to myself, "Phew! That's over..."

Anyway, the idea of taking orgasm off the agenda while getting through the holiday season is an interesting one. Sort of like, one less thing to worry about during this busy time of year. I'll admit, the idea has crossed my mind. Ab's birthday is January 17th and I thought of waiting 'til then. I also figured out that November 23rd marks 100 days of our chastity journey (we started on August 16th). I had one thought of a big O on November 23rd and then that's it until his birthday.

Then I've also thought...I'm not going to worry about any date at all.

Shane has an interesting idea about the club concept. I know he was being a bit facetious, but what an interesting idea. My mind's just racing on this one. Maybe for males to be members we have to "submit" our applications or demonstrate our bona fides as chaste males/husbands. Somehow this would have to sit well with our wives or girlfriends, but the title of "Group Administrator" would take on new meaning!

I don't think the holidays have much to do with it. When you look at the calendar though it seems natural (to me) to think the new year is a good time to start (or end) something. And Jan. 2nd will be exactly 8 weeks after my last one and so...it just seemed like a good fit.

Maybe there IS some interest in a club. I wonder what the women members might want as a common thread or minimal chastity effort to "qualify"? Of course our forum can't become elitist, but maybe a tiered membership. Instead of number of posts....it's number of weeks chaste......etc. etc.

As for the first of the year....I will be allowed neither intercourse nor ejaculation.
