Is it possible to attach a picture to a private message? Thanks

To prevent abuse, we have disabled attachments to PMs.

Instead, sign up for a free Imgur.com account and upload any number of pictures, then PM the link to somebody. If you have a Android or Apple phone, you can upload directly to the account with the Share options (will need to install the Imgur app first).

Thanks for that Tom, I was just thinking about where I was going to put some pics to share! I like the idea of having the app on my phone since that's pretty much the only way I use the internet anymore lol my Note2 has become my "laptop" and I rarely turn mine real one on anymore!

I have a Nook Color that's been rooted for Android, and my new Galaxy S4, which is becoming my favorite. It's nice to be able to, say, grab a picture from Tumblr and send it via MMS over to Mrs. Edge.

Imgur doesn't seem to have the restrictions that other photo services do, but then, it's not tied into anything else (at least, not yet).

I see that you & your hub set up a Wordpress blog. You can share some pics through that, but be aware that recently Wordpress went all Yahoo, and started cracking down on "adult" blogs; several long-time blogging friends have had their blogs removed with no warning. I try not to put anything explicit on mine, in order to avoid scrutiny.

Oh... hmmm might blogspot be a better spot since you can have the "this is for adults only" thing? I really feel like WordPress needs something like that as an option and was trying to figure out with hubby how to make that known from the minute you open the blog. You know, a disclaimer of sorts.

Hmmm

I'll talk to him about it and see what he wants to do and where to better host it or if we want to work out WordPress anyway since we do like it and have been using it for s long time for other blogs.

Ok so, of course I had to go look and here is the link to the Mature content thing for WordPress: http://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/

Says mature content is ok but no advertising for porn sign up sites, no sex acts or close up genitalia, no child stuff (eww) so looks like as long as we keep it informational which is the point of the journal... to document the journey, not to provide porn for people... that's something they can email me about hahaha :) then we are all good!

Ok off to the Google play store

Hah hah hah hah!
No.

Unfortunately, Blogger is even worse now. Stick with Wordpress, while putting more explicit pictures (should you be so inclined) on Imgur.

Oh, and Tumblr seems to be okay for now. However, they were recently acquired by Yahoo, so who knows what will happen with that.

My signature block points to both my Wordpress blog, and to my Tumblr account, which is mainly just reblogging of pretty pictures.
